"I have had State Farm for my insurance since my teens. I was with the Allendale branch until about 5ish years ago when Bob Visser retired. At that point I was switched to this agent. Fortunately, I have not needed to get in touch much, but I get periodic offers to review my policies to make sure that my coverage is what I need and that I am not paying more for services that are unlikely to benefit me.

Because of some life changes, when the offer was made again recently to review my coverage, I decided to go ahead and speak with someone from this branch. I ended up receiving a call from Elliott, who was friendly and personable without being intrusive. Our conversation ended up being significantly longer than I think either of us anticipated just because there were so many things that ultimately I needed to change, but Elliott was patient and made sure that all my questions and concerns were addressed. I never felt rushed or like I was taking up time that he needed to be spending elsewhere - a quality that is not always as present from folks in customer service positions as I would like. It was refreshing to feel like my concerns and questions were addressed without needing to feel like I was imposing on someone or taking up time they would rather be spending on other priorities. Not only do I feel much more confident that I have the right coverage for me after our conversation the other day, but I also feel like, whatever State Farm's culture might be like at the corporate level, the folks at this branch seem genuinely interested in trying to help customers choose coverage that will best fit their needs.
